Half-time hot wings

This recipe is sure to satisfy your friends' hunger on a red-hot game night! The only tip we can give you: avoid wearing a white sweater while enjoying these little bites!

Ingredients
- 12 chicken wings or drummettes
- 1 tbsp steak spice 15 mL
- 2 tsp chopped fresh thyme 10 mL
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 125 mL
- 1/3 cup Barbecue Sauce 75 mL
- 2 tsp Buffalo Wing Sauce, or to taste 10 mL
- 4 tsp chopped fresh chives 20 mL
Directions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Lightly grease a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Season chicken with steak spice and thyme. Toss with flour, shaking off excess.
- Arrange chicken on prepared baking sheet. Bake, turning occasionally, 50 min. to 1 hr., or until golden brown and crispy.
- Meanwhile, mix barbecue sauce with wing sauce in large bowl. Add the cooked chicken and toss to coat. Sprinkle with chives. Serve with vegetable sticks, if desired.
