The WEEKEND membership gives you access to your local gym from Thursday to Sunday (4 days, see the opening hours of the gym) while the ECONO membership gives you access to your local at all times (7 days a week, see opening hours of the gym).

By adding $1.15 plus taxes on your bi-weekly subscriptions, your membership fee will remain the same as long as you are a member and keep the same membership plan. This option is only available when subscribing.

Yes! An amazing privilege for our Platinum and Extra members is that they can share their keytags with friends for free. In order to share their card, members must ensure that their friends are 15 years of age and older. Only one person (member or guest) will be admitted at the gym at a time. Guests or members must have a valid access keytag in their possession at all times. Guests have access to fitness equipment only as well as the access to all locations. This excludes the use of the Platinum Zone (tanning equipment, massage chairs and hydromassage beds). See terms and conditions for more details.

Free trials take place on the last Thursday of each month, from opening until closing time. See our Thursday Free Trials details. People aged between 15 and 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult. There are no other opportunities for a free trial or workout outside of those days.

To be granted access to tanning equipment, you must be 18 or older. A tanning session lasts 9 minutes at most. However, you may have as many tanning sessions as you wish. All users must comply with the SMART tanning rules. Wearing protective eyewear is mandatory when using tanning equipment (see terms and conditions).

Weekend and Econo members can access the showers at the low cost of $1/3 minutes. Platinum and Extra members enjoy free and unlimited access to showers by scanning their keytag. All members have free access to lockers and changing rooms.

You can now working out in an Éconofitness gym with a private trainer (some gyms and authorized personal trainers only), thanks to a partnership with Fittcoach. Private training at Éconofitness is more accessible than ever thanks to our low prices! Whether you want to lose weight, get back in shape, or build muscle, private training can help you achieve your goals! Éconofitness members, book your private session, and choose among the certified, competent, and professional coaches HERE! We have also prepared training programs on our website that you can download or print. Also, an interactive kiosk is available in every gym to get familiar with the 30-minute Express Circuit machines.

Éconofitness offers over 200 virtual classes per week. Fitness classes are presented in a special room on a giant screen TV. No reservation needed. See schedules.

It is not possible to transfer an Écono membership from one gym to another. However, you can upgrade your membership to a Platinum or Extra option and have access to every Éconofitness gyms in Québec.

Every member must be 15 years of age and older. Minors must register in person, accompanied by a parent (or legal guardian). Minors cannot subscribe online. On our Thursday Free Trials, minors aged between 15 and 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Cardio and strength training equipment is available, as well as stretching areas. Each Éconofitness features 50+ pieces of cardio equipment, a wide range of strength training machines, and a large free weight area (5 to 75 lb dumbbells). We also offer over 200 virtual group fitness and indoor cycling classes (see schedule). Platinum and Extra memberships include access to massage chairs, hydromassage beds and unlimited access to tanning equipment (must be 18 or over).

There is no day care available (see our services).

If you do not have your keytag with you, you will not be allowed to enter the gym. If your keytag has been lost/stolen, you can purchase a new keytag during staffed hours (see your gym's schedule) for $10 + applicable taxes.

Wear comfortable, breathable fabrics and running shoes. We recommend that you always bring a padlock, water bottle and towel. The use of a towel is mandatory, as are indoor shoes (see code of conduct).

Memberships can be purchased online or at any Éconofitness gym (see our opening hours). If you plan to sign up for a membership at the gym, please bring a void cheque or credit card. For online subscribers, visit your gym and see an associate with a valid photo ID to receive your keytag.

You can upgrade your membership by logging into your Member’s Area or at the Éconofitness location mentioned on your contract.
