ÉCONOFITNESS OPENS ITS FIRST EXTRA GYM IN THE CITY OF QUÉBEC
 In the former premises of Club Entrain at Place de la Cité!
 

A HALF-MILLION-DOLLAR INVESTMENT FOR THE CHAIN’S LARGEST GYM!

 

Québec, Monday, February 4, 2019 - Éconofitness, which currently operates more than 60 gyms in Quebec, is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of its first EXTRA gym in the city of Québec area. Beginning on February 7, the Éconofitness team will begin to set up shop in the former premises of Club Entrain at Place de la Cité for a reopening scheduled in mid-March. This first EXTRA gym in the region, the largest of the chain with a total floor area of 24,000 ft², will sport the company’s colours and offer a wide range of new training equipment, all in the vast, bright, and easily accessible space that was home to Club Entrain for decades.

Already established in Montréal and the Laurentides and Lanaudière regions, Éconofitness’s EXTRA gyms offer an enhanced program of group classes with on-site coaches as well as access to fully equipped weight and cardio training rooms. Fittcoach, which offers the services of numerous personal trainers through online booking, will also be involved with Éconofitness’s EXTRA gym in the city of Québec. In order to keep offering classes similar to those enjoyed by Club Entrain’s members, the Éconofitness team is currently in discussions with various trainers and group coaches from the former club and is considering their involvement with the class program at the new gym.

During the 30-day period between the closing of Club Entrain and the opening of the new EXTRA gym, Éconofitness will offer free access to all its gyms in the city of Québec area to Club Entrain’s members.

Five years ago, the first Éconofitness gym was opened in Montréal with the goal of offering plenty of high-quality training equipment at very low prices to as many people as possible. Today, its members have access to 66 gyms throughout the province.
