5 MYTHS AND FACTS ABOUT ÉCONOFITNESS!

Since 2013, Éconofitness has been offering people quality gyms at very low prices to make fitness accessible to as many people as possible. In recent years, the business has experienced phenomenal growth, and the population has quickly adopted this new gym concept.

However, some false beliefs persist, and the time has come to separate myth from fact. So, how well do you know your Éconofitness gyms?
 

👎 MYTH!  As of October 2018, Éconofitness members have access to private training thanks to their partnership with Fittcoach. Members choose their trainer, set the time and date for their private session, and pay the trainer’s fees directly online. It’s as simple as that! And rest assured, all Fittcoach trainers approved by Éconofitness are certified, competent, and professional trainers that are attentive to their clients’ requests. And, to the delight of private training enthusiasts, the Fittcoach service will be offered in all Éconofitness gyms by the end of 2019! 👎 MYTH!  At Éconofitness, you will find the best coaches in Quebec, and not just on big screens. The 13 Éconofitness EXTRA gyms, which are located throughout the province (see the list of gyms HERE), offer group fitness classes cland VELOCYCLE classes with a live coach. In addition to virtual fitness classes, Éconofitness offers world-renowned classes, such as LesMills BODYPUMP, ZUMBA, and POWER CARDIO, as well as popular classes exclusive to Éconofitness, such as GoFitness ZEN YOGA, GoFitness KICKBOXING and GoFitness DANCE PARTY, led by extraordinary on-site coaches. Fitness classes with a live coach are included in the EXTRA membership for as little as $11.99 biweekly (plus taxes).

👎 MYTH!  Platinum and Extra members have unlimited access to showers at no extra charge. At Éconofitness, members don’t pay for services they don’t use, which allows us to offer annual memberships for as little as $4.99 biweekly (plus taxes). However, although access to showers is not included in the Écono membership, those with this membership can still use them, for the low fee of $1 for 3 minutes.

👍 FACT!  Although many gyms provide wipes to members, this costly and not so environmentally friendly option is not the hygiene solution Éconofitness has opted for. One of Éconofitness’s promises is to offer impeccably clean gyms to its members. That is why all employees go around several times a day to clean the gym and equipment.

Also, for hygiene purposes and out of respect for other users, all members must have their training towel at all times at the gym. Members who wish to use disinfecting wipes can, however, bring some if they wish to.

👎 MYTH!  Éconofitness now has 70 gyms throughout the province of Quebec. These gyms are all filled with quality equipment and have an amazing Platinum Zone, which includes massage chairs, hydromassage beds and tanning booths. Members who are in a rush or just beginning a training program can use the 30-minute Express Circuit, which is also available in all our gyms.
