TRANSFORMATION-INSPIRATION: NOÉMIE GAGNON
Noémie Gagnon, mother of three, has agreed to share her fitness and weight-loss experience with us. Her top priority was to change things for herself, but she also wanted to be present for her family more than ever and set an example for them!

I underwent a physical transformation.
💛 WHEN DID YOU START YOUR FITNESS JOURNEY?
In November 2016.
🖤 WHY DID YOU START YOUR FITNESS JOURNEY?
I started working out because I couldn’t love and accept myself as I was. Also, I couldn’t play with my kids because I felt tired all the time. As a stay-at-home mom, I really needed to do something for myself to be a happy mom.
💛 WHAT HABITS HAVE YOU CHANGED?
First, I changed my diet. Then, I started exercising (which I hated doing before).
🖤 WHAT HAS BEEN THE OUTCOME AND WHAT ARE THE POSITIVE ASPECTS OF YOUR NEW LIFESTYLE?
I lost over 30 pounds in less than a year! Also, my third pregnancy was a healthy one. My third child is now one, and I’m in better shape than ever! I think I look beautiful, and I’m proud of what I have accomplished! I’m a happy mom and want my children to see it! Now I love to eat well and prepare healthy meals.
💛 WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO UNDERTAKE A JOURNEY SIMILAR TO YOURS?
The first few weeks are the most challenging. Giving up is especially easy at the beginning of the process when you can’t see results. During the first month, I would suggest working out several times a week if you can, to establish your new routine. Afterwards, you can pace yourself as long as you’re consistent.
